Project under construction

This is not a car.
This is not a bike.
This is STEV-E.

An intermediate urban vehicle: narrow enough to filter through traffic, protective enough to face rain and impacts. Pedal if you want, or let the electric assistance do the work.

While cars stand still, STEV-E moves on. Dry, and without queueing.

Today, getting around the city means choosing what to lose

The car

Comfortable and protective, but stuck. Hours in jams, 1.5 t to move for one person, impossible parking.

The bike

Fast and healthy, but exposed. You risk your life at every junction and arrive soaked as soon as it rains.

Public transport

Efficient when all goes well, but crowded, expensive and at the mercy of any outage.

Meet STEV-E

STEV-E (Small Tilting Electric Vehicle) is a cross between an electric car and a bike. Inspired by velomobiles, adapted to the urban jungle.

  • Narrow like a bike: it filters where the car is stuck.
  • Closed and reinforced like a car: sheltered from rain and impacts.
  • Pedals to stay healthy, smart electric assistance for power.
  • A tilting vehicle (up to 25° each side), designed for the city.

Where the project stands

An honest project: the concept and the modelling are done, the mock-up is next, the prototype is the goal.

Done

Concept

Need, positioning and general architecture defined.

Done

3D modelling

Full CAD model and first renders of the vehicle.

In progress

Mock-up

Validating volumes, ergonomics and sub-systems.

Goal

Prototype

First running vehicle, to be tested on the road.

We are looking for partners

STEV-E is being built. We are looking for incubators, industrial partners and funders to move from concept to a running prototype. If sustainable urban mobility speaks to you, let's talk.
